More Farmers Markets’ Finds
If my first installment of great, non-fresh-produce finds at local farmers markets introduced you to some new, tasty discoveries, Part 2 no doubt will do the same. Read all about it my column, “A Girl’s Gotta Eat” in today’s Metro.
Some of these vendors I’ve not seen, because I don’t frequent those particular markets. I like the toofu granola, even better now because you say they’re using the okara instead of wasting it. I love the bolanis, and the awesome dips that they sell along with them.
I totally agree about “going ditzy” at the farmers market sometimes. If you get a good deal, it’s hard to resist coming home with 10 lbs of fruit and nowhere to put it all.
