I agree about the Taste Pavilion -- there were a lot of people, but it never felt like a crush of humanity.

I was at the farmers' market on Friday, enjoying Scott Peacock's ham-stuffed Southern biscuits. Mmmmm, I want seconds now.

Even though the Taste Pavilion event sold out, it didn't feel crowded to me. But the lines were long for a few pavilions. I was at the farmers market today and it was crowded and hot, a perfect summer event. Looked like a lot of people discovering new things and having fun. I even saw the queen of the event, Alice Waters. But I didn't see Food Gal!

Excellent report. It's a fine event. The taste pavilions are spectacular. It's too bad they didn't plan for bigger crowds – made teh event longer, planned more sessions. The taste pavilion sessions are sold out.
