I am so envious, Mrs. L. You were there in the moment. You can't ask for more excitement than that. One of the Merc's freelancers happened to be in Tokyo then, and got to see the challenge "live.'' Yoshi was kind enough to bring me back an "Iron Chef'' oven mitt. I've never dared to use it. I have it hanging in honor in my home-office instead. ;) Wow!!! I am so envious, Mrs. L. I remember being in my hotel room just celebrating like crazy (since it wasn't going to be shown in the US for months). His winning and me being able to watch it on Japanese TV was one of the highlights of my trip. I searched all over for an Iron Chef t-shirt back then in Japan to no avail!
