I am going to avoid the opening weekend but I am leaning toward getting a Family membership. This is an awesome place to be, at any age!

I saw it today! Went to the deYoung museum to see the Chihuly exhibit and you can see the Academy building (with hundreds of cinstruction trucks as the frantically prepare for the opening!)

Oh man that’s so exciting that you got a sneak preview!!! I can’t wait until I can visit it .. probably during Thanksgiving break. The food looks really good too.. oh, this is so cool.

Wow, can’t wait to check it out. But I think this first weekend will be a crazy mess. You’re lucky you got a preview because I bet it’ll never feel that empty! ) I hope the food is good and that it forces the DeYoung cafe to get better. I think the food there is pricey and average in taste, so any competition in the area will be good.
