Food Gal Makes Her Debut In San Francisco Magazine

One of the new sustainable sushi guides.

Be sure to pick up a copy of the November issue of San Francisco Magazine now on newsstands to read my short piece on three new sustainable sushi guides.

A year in the works, the guides were put together by the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Blue Ocean Institute, and the Environmental Defense Fund.

On each of the organization’s Web sites, you’ll find a copy of a free guide to download. All three are sure to make your next meal at a sushi bar more enlightening.

Wow. When you are famous and making appearances on Oprah and Letterman, will you remember us little people? :)

Uh, hello? Weren’t you the one who was recently on TV? ;)

Congratulations Carolyn. I never read San Francisco magazine, good stuff. Boston Magazine tends to be more “buy this” “eat here” and less substance, odd when you think about all the academic institutions around here. Tip your shoyu in any direction and you’re gonna stain some prof…

Anyway, I was at the Blue Ocean launch party of the sushi wallet cards. If readers want to see my photos of the event they can find a slideshow at Sustainable Sushi Trifecta.

Glad good things are happening for you!

PS is it the In the Know – Mind your Nigiri piece – where’s your by line?

Hi Jacqueline: That is strange that Boston Magazine tends to be more fluffy. Who would have thunk it?

Oh, my byline is on the “Mind Your Nigiri” story. Just click on the story link that I just added in the posting above.
