I do wonder why yet again there’s no pastry chef on the show. Me being the dessert fanatic that I am would love to see one compete amongst all those other exec. chefs and sous chefs. Goodness, but was Marisa Churchill from Season 2 the last pastry chef to appear on the show??

I’m an addict, too. Not just the food — they do a great job staging the show and making it a contest with interesting challenges that bring out the best and worst of each contestant — both as a chef and as a person. The talent they attract is amazing. Each season gets better.

I am addicted like you, Cheryl. My friends and I always send a blizzard of emails the day after. The gist is usually something like, “Can ya believe that dish so-and-so came up with? What was he thinking??”

Wow, you’re better than TV Guide! I love Top Chef and am running downstairs right now to set my TiVo. (There’s so little good stuff on TV right now so you’ve really made my day.)
