I do wonder why yet again there's no pastry chef on the show. Me being the dessert fanatic that I am would love to see one compete amongst all those other exec. chefs and sous chefs. Goodness, but was Marisa Churchill from Season 2 the last pastry chef to appear on the show??

I'm an addict, too. Not just the food -- they do a great job staging the show and making it a contest with interesting challenges that bring out the best and worst of each contestant -- both as a chef and as a person. The talent they attract is amazing. Each season gets better.
