Food Fun For Your Next Party

Why do all the cooking for your next soiree when you can have this baby parked in front of your house or office instead?

Sancho’s Taqueria, famous for its killer fish tacos, has debuted a new catering truck that will roll on over to your venue of choice to prepare all-you-can-eat tacos. Yes, that includes tacos filled with fish, al pastor, carne asada, choriza, pollo asado, and the like. Chips and salsa are included; drinks are extra. You need a minimum of 30 people to have the truck for 90 minutes. The cost for this feeding frenzy? $600.

Chef-Owner Adam Torres already has a Sancho’s Tacqueria at 3205 Oak Knoll Dr. in Redwood City and La Tiendita Market, a butcher shop with take-out food, at 510 O’Connor St. in East Palo Alto.

Now, he’s planning on adding to his mini taco empire by opening another Sancho’s Tacqueria at 491 Lytton Ave. in downtown Palo Alto (former home of the Clay Oven restaurant). The 16-seat spot is expected to open this month with many of your favorite Sancho’s taco and burrito offerings, plus an array of ceviches and more vegetarian options.

  • If you’ve got the $600, I’ve got the appetite and would be happy to come to your house and set up a chair on the lawn. Sounds like a party to me.

  • It is our dream to go to a party with a taco truck. As LA transplants, we never knew that taco trucks were the rage here on the West Coast until we moved of course. Now we can’t get enough of them for those late night street cravings! 🙂 All you can eat tacos for $600 isn’t so bad…
