San Francisco’s delightful little bakery, Miette, is getting a whole lot bigger.
The bakery, which sells all manner of lovely cupcakes, homemade candies, princess cakes, banana cream tarts, and yes, fabulous little melt-in-your-mouth macarons, has opened a third location, 2109 Chestnut St. in San Francisco.
The new spot, Miette Patisserie & Confiserie, is the bakery’s flagship location. It combines the best of the other two San Francisco locations: the Ferry Building pastry shop and Miette Confiserie, 449 Octavia St., which sells candy from all over the world, and spins cotton candy to order with organic infused sugars of lavender or grapefruit.
Miette’s is the brainchild of self-taught baker, Megan Ray, who named the business after the French word for “little crumb.” Make a visit, and you’re sure to savor every little last one.
