you can whip the frosting before you freeze it so it doesn’t turn into a block of ice that you cant bite into. just get out the blender.

I like the idea of frozen frosting shots. I occasionally make so many cupcakes I have to freeze them, and the cake thaws faster than the frosting. I know how tasty the solid layer of sugary buttery goodness can be. Of course, it also depends on what kind of frosting it is.

I’m sure the kids just love these. Have you tried the frosting shots at Icing on the Cake in Los Gatos? They aren’t frozen though. (Haven’t tried them though.)
