My husband and I had a really lovely lunch at Quattro a year or two ago. I remember a Bento box filled with all kinds of loveliness. It wasn't overly pricey, either, but with so many options in the area we've never been back.

Thanks for the reminder.

Cookie: Oh, man, I WISH everything was $4, but if you reread the post, you'll see that it's only the special Thursday "crudo'' evenings that offer Italian raw fish preparations for $4 per plate.

Marc: Well, there are parts of East Palo Alto that are still a bit scary. Definitely still crime in those parts. But there's also been a lot of new development since you left. Not only is there a Four Seasons in East Palo Alto now, but an Ikea (!!), as well as a big shopping center. The city has yet to get its first full-service grocery store, but the city council has been working on trying to rectify that.
