I made Boeuf Bourguignon for my husbands birthday dinner…Julia wasn’t kidding when she said to use all of your pots and pans. I had to! A nice Pinot Noir was a nice pairing.

I have to look for some arctic char while it’s still in season, love it! Wegmans has about five different kinds of wild salmon but not arctic char, I have to go to Whole Foods and try my luck there.

OysterCulture: How fun that they had all those cakes at the theater to commemorate Julia Child’s birthday. I bet your mother-in-law’s sweet marsala cake was a winner. I love marsala in cakes — makes them so moist and just a little bit sinful.
