Kara’s Cupcakes Take To the Road

If you miss the debut this weekend of Kara’s Cupcakes‘ new van as it makes the rounds of the Eat Real Food Fest in Oakland, have no fear. You can still catch the sugar bomb on wheels at other locales in the future.

Yes, the San Francisco-based cupcakery is going the way of Korean taco trucks and salumi bicycles — announcing its Bay Area stops via Twitter.

Follow the bouncing cupcakes at the Twitter address, Karascupcakes.

The van marks the sixth location of Kara’s, albeit the only movable one. The other stationary ones are in San Francisco (two), Palo Alto, San Jose, and Napa.

Catch a Fleur de Sel or Raspberry Dazzle, if you can.

    I honestly prefer Kara’s cupcakes over all the other places out there. Wonder if I can bribe the van to stop by my work some day. Or better yet, stop outside a Sharks game!

    I am a recent convert to Kara’s Cupcakes. I have never tasted such a phenomenal buttercream before. I am so in love.
