well, i don’t think truffle is a trend. i thinks it’s great that people are incorporating it into everyday fare. most people would never taste a truffle. i think it’s a great idea. great full service dining movie theater here in n.o. serves gourmet spanish tapas, great wine and guess what else……truffle popcorn. my abosolute fav. i now make my own at home at least twice a week. poopoo to those who are “over truffles”

Black truffle oil is expensive but well worth the price. When you 1st try black truffles, its either love at 1st bite or no thank you. The black truffle is being farmed in Spain & many other countries, very sucessfully I must add.

Never tried truffled popcorn – but I have the ingredients. And since sometimes I eat popcorn as dinner…..
