I was deprived as a child...or so I thought then. My cereals were limited to those with sugars under 10 grams or so, which eliminated all the typical "kid" cereals like Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. So one of the cereals I was allowed to eat was Honey Bunches of Oats. Out of the "healthier" cereals I could eat from, this was one of my favorites. My favorite parts was pouring out a bowl, and then proceeding to pick out the delicious honey oat clusters and place them in ascending order of largeness on my place-mat. Only after I had finished the cereal in my bowl, would I then eat the clusters, small to large. It was the best. :)

as a kid my uncle would eat capt crunch pb flavor. gather a big bowl, pour in what seemed like half the box, drown it in milk, then take out 3 or 4 huge spoonfuls of peanut butter and throw it in the bowl. i thought that was the most disgusting thing I'd ever seen, until i finally tried it myself. so damn good. i still do that but with oatmeal now.

i was (...and am) a fan of lucky charms. i thought i was so clever--i'd pour a bowl for myself, pick out all the marshmallows and eat 'em, and dump the cereal part back into the box. yep, the next person (one of my brothers, obviously) would end up with a marshmallow-less bowl. :)
