Carroll: Only a couple dishes underwhelmed at Star Noodle -- the pho and the garlic noodles. The rest was quite wonderful and made a real impression. We did order the Brussels sprouts, but according to one of the members of our party, who has eaten at Star Noodle a few times before, they were prepared slightly differently this time. Maybe they were too busy that night, but they did not prepare them by separating all the leaves, then charring them into crispy goodness. Instead, the Brussels sprouts were cut in half to caramelize. Still good, but not as memorable, especially if you're used to preparing them that way in your own home. And yes, a few of the other dishes were new items they were trying out on us that may appear on the menu in the future. ;)
