If you’ve jumped on the Asian chili sauce bandwagon — and who hasn’t at this point? — you’ll want to add another label to your arsenal.

Everiday Foods serves up a line of four different Asian chili sauces, each with a slightly different taste profile, and enough heat to really jolt the palate yet not incinerate it.

The Singapore company was founded by Riyana Rupani, who gave up a career in corporate finance to become a certified nutritionist after experiencing her own autoimmune issues.

With her quest for clean eating, the sauces are all made with extra-virgin olive oil, as well as additions including pitted dates, garlic, dried chili, and other seasonings,. They all are also vegan, and gluten-free.

I had an opportunity to try samples of the Garlic Chili Oil, Mala Chili Crisp, House Red Chili Sauce, and Sambal.

With coconut aminos adding a soy sauce-like taste, the Garlic Chili Oil definitely has an Asian flair with a good kick of throaty heat. The garlic adds a savory bite that really amps up a grilled cheese sandwich. It would also be great on noodles of any sort.

The House Red Chili Sauce is vividly orange in color with a loose paste-y consistency. There’s a subtle floralness from makrut lime leaves, a hint of sweetness from the dates, and a touch of citrus from lime juice, which all together gives the sauce a nice roundness. It would be lovely in a papaya-shrimp salad or drizzled on grilled veggies.

The Sambal has an even more paste-like consistency. One taste and you’ll immediately think Indian or Southeast Asian food because of the additions of turmeric, tamarind, lemongrass and bird’s eye chili. There’s spice, as well as a true earthiness to it. Stir it into coconut milk and you have a flavorful curry just like that.

The Mala Chili Crisp is probably my favorite of the bunch, just because I love chili crisp. This one is especially flavorful with cloves, ginger, star anise, cinnamon, fennel seeds, and bay leaves. It also has the crunch of sesame seeds, and of course, the numbing quality of Sichuan peppercorns. I dolloped it atop cold udon noodles for a summery supper in no time. It’s also a natural for drizzling over Asian dumplings, or for stir-frying lamb or chicken.

The sauces come in 4.9-ounce jars that are $12.99 each. A four-pack with one of each variety is now on sale for $44.99 on the Everiday website, as well as via Amazon. I will say that it’s kind of handy to have all four to play around with because any one of them will liven up most anything you cook.
